EXPERT IN ARTS SUBJECTS

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Art Subjects Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various art disciplines and a dedication to fostering creativity among students. This role involves developing lesson plans, delivering engaging instruction, and supporting students in developing their artistic skills and appreciation for the arts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum in art subjects including (but not limited to) painting, drawing, sculpture, art history, and digital art.

- Create lesson plans that meet educational standards and cater to diverse learning styles.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression.

- Guide students in developing their skills and techniques in various art mediums and practices.

- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.

- Organize and oversee student exhibitions, showcases, or art contests to recognize student achievements.

- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art education into other subjects and enhance the overall learning experience.

- Maintain an inventory of art supplies and materials while managing classroom resources effectively.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in art education and methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- NCE/Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Applied Art, Art Education, Linguistics, Literature or a related field

- Proven experience as an art teacher or in a related role.

- Strong knowledge of art principles, techniques, and history.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with students and parents.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying skill levels.

- Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for art education.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
