St. Charbel School

About the School

Saint Charbel School was officially established in 2015 in the city of Jerusalem, following a journey of vision, planning, and dedication that began in 2010 under the leadership of its founder and principal, Mr. Pierre Abukhalil. His commitment to education and community service transformed a vision into a distinguished educational institution serving generations of students.

The school offers a comprehensive educational program from Kindergarten through Grade 12, including both the Scientific and Literary streams. It provides a balanced learning environment that combines academic excellence with strong moral and spiritual values.

Saint Charbel School employs more than 15 qualified teachers, supported by an administrative and service team of over five staff members, including secretarial staff, accounting, maintenance, and security personnel, ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the school.

The campus consists of three main buildings:

  • Building One: Presidency and Administration

  • Building Two: Teaching Staff Offices and Classrooms (Grades 1–12)

  • Building Three: Kindergarten Section

In addition, the school includes a church with a seating capacity of approximately 250 people, known as Mar Charbel Church, which reflects the spiritual identity of the institution.

The Kindergarten section serves around 100 students, supervised by four teachers, along with a director, secretary, and support staff.
The primary and secondary sections (Grades 1–12) include approximately 350 students.

As a private institution, Saint Charbel School operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

The school continuously strives for development, excellence, and service, fostering well-rounded students who excel academically while upholding strong ethical and spiritual values.
