Admission Procedure – Success Garden International Schools
At Success Garden International Schools (SGIS), we believe in a smooth and transparent admission process that ensures every child is placed in the right class for their age, abilities, and academic growth. Our admissions are open to Crèche, Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary, and Senior Secondary levels.
Step 1 – Purchase or Request the Admission Form
-
Admission forms can be obtained from the school’s administrative office or downloaded from our official website www.successgardeninternationalschools.com.ng.
-
A non-refundable form fee applies and can be paid directly at the school office or via our online payment channels.
Step 2 – Submit the Completed Form with Required Documents
Along with the filled admission form, applicants must submit:
-
Two recent passport photographs of the child
-
A copy of the child’s birth certificate or age declaration
-
Previous academic reports (for Primary and Secondary entrants)
-
Transfer certificate (for students transferring from another school)
-
Medical record / immunization history
Step 3 – Entrance Assessment / Placement Test
-
Pupils seeking admission into Primary, Junior Secondary, or Senior Secondary will be invited to write an Entrance Assessment.
-
The assessment evaluates numeracy, literacy, general knowledge, and subject-specific skills to determine the most suitable class placement.
-
For Crèche and Nursery, interaction and observation sessions are conducted instead of formal tests.
Step 4 – Interview with Parent/Guardian
-
Successful candidates and their parents/guardians will attend a brief interview with the Head of School or Admissions Officer to discuss expectations, school policies, and the child’s development needs.
Step 5 – Offer of Admission & Payment of Fees
-
An official Admission Offer Letter will be issued to successful applicants.
-
Parents are required to confirm acceptance by paying the admission fee and first term’s school fees within the stipulated period to secure the child’s place.
Step 6 – Orientation & Resumption
-
Admitted students and parents are invited for Orientation Day, where they are introduced to the school’s culture, facilities, teachers, and code of conduct.
-
Students resume on the announced date, fully prepared to begin their academic journey at Success Garden International Schools.
Note: Admission is subject to availability of space in the requested class, and the school reserves the right to place a child in the class level most suited to their age and performance.
