Academic Management
Creating academic syllabuses
Menu: Manage Academics, then Academic Syllabus.
This page stores the scheme of work: the topics a class will cover in a subject, week by week. The left card adds a topic. The right card, titled Scheme of work, finds topics you have already saved.
Add a topic
1. Choose the class. The subject list then loads for that class.
2. Choose the subject.
3. Click Load. The topic form appears under the class and subject names.
4. Enter the topic, for example Introduction to Physics.
5. Enter the content lines under the topic, for example Definition of Physics. Click the green plus button to add another line. Click the red minus button to remove a line.
6. Choose the week. Weeks run from Week 1 to Week 20.
7. Click Save.
The topic is stored for the running academic session.
Find and update the scheme of work
On the right, choose the class, the subject, the week, and the session, then click Load. Class, subject, week, and session are all required. If one is missing, the page asks you to fill the required fields.
The result lists the week number, the topic title, and the numbered content lines.
Edit opens that topic so you can change it. Delete asks you to confirm, then removes that topic.
If nothing has been saved for that class, subject, week, and session, the page says no academic syllabus was found.
