Understanding the Gosfem navigation

Understanding the Gosfem Navigation
Gosfem provides a structured navigation menu that helps school administrators, teachers, accountants, receptionists, HR staff, librarians, nurses, and other authorized users quickly access the tools they need. The navigation you see may differ depending on your user role and the features enabled for your school.
Dashboard
The Dashboard is the main page of your Gosfem account. It provides an overview of important school information and gives you quick access to frequently used features. Depending on your role, you may see statistics, notifications, recent activities, financial information, student information, attendance, and other useful summaries.
Quick Links
Quick Links provide shortcuts to commonly used areas of Gosfem. They are designed to help you reach important functions without having to navigate through multiple menu levels.

Audit Trail
The Audit Trail provides a record of relevant activities performed within the system. It can help administrators monitor system activity and understand actions performed by users.
Miscellaneous
The Miscellaneous section contains additional tools that do not belong to a single major module. Depending on your Gosfem installation, this area may include reviews, feature requests, announcements, and other administrative functions.
Logout
Use Logout when you have finished working in Gosfem. Logging out is especially important when using a shared or public computer because it helps prevent another person from accessing your account.
Why Some Menu Items May Not Appear
Not every user will see every navigation option. Gosfem can display features according to the user's role and permissions. For example, an accountant may have access to invoices and expenses, while a librarian may have access to library functions. If you cannot see a particular menu item, you may not have the required permission or the feature may not be enabled for your school.
Using the Navigation Efficiently
When looking for a feature, first identify what you are trying to accomplish rather than searching for the exact name of a menu item. For example, if you want to add a new student, start with the Students section. If you want to record a payment, look under Invoice & Expense. If you want to create a timetable, go to Manage Academics.
