System and API Setting

This guide covers the first menu in the school admin sidebar, System and API Setting. Open it from the left menu (the gear icon), then work through the items in the order below.

Use this section when you first set up the school, and whenever the school year, branding, fees, or notifications change.

Who can use it: the school admin account.

What this section is for: school identity, the academic calendar, branding, report cards, student groups, login security, online payments, SMS, email, live classes, search listings, course revenue, and the public school page.

Suggested setup order

If you are opening the school on the platform for the first time, use this order:

1. System Settings: name, contact, currency, session, term, language, and timezone.

2. Logo: logos, favicon, login image, and signature.

3. Report Card Template, then the score and result switches in System Settings.

4. Holiday, Student Categories, Student House, and Student Club.

5. Session Timeout and Security, after Email API Settings is saved.

6. Payment, then SMS Settings and Email API Settings.

7. SMS and email templates, then Email and SMS Activation.

8. Live Class Settings and SEO Manager if you use them.

9. Course Revenue Share if you sell courses.

10. School Website URL when you are ready for the public page.
