The noticeboard is a calendar of school events and announcements for the current academic session. Visitors and the school community see these items on the public noticeboard.

The calendar opens on today's month. Use the buttons at the top to move between months, to jump back to today, or to switch the view to month, week, or day.

Add a notice

Click Add noticeboard at the top right, or click an empty day on the calendar. Clicking a day opens the same form with that day ready to use.

Title: The name of the event or notice, such as Parents Meeting or Inter-house Sports.

Location: Where it happens, such as School hall or Main field.

Description: The full note. This box can be left blank if the title is enough.

Start date: The first day of the notice.

End date: The last day. For a one-day event, use the same date as the start date.

Event time: The time of day, typed as text. Example: 12:30 AM or 9:00 AM.

Colour: The colour of the bar on the calendar. Choices are blue, green, red, purple, and yellow. Use different colours so meetings, exams, and holidays are easy to tell apart.

Cover image: Optional. Add a picture only if you want one on the notice.

Click Save. The notice appears on the calendar between the start date and the end date.

Change or remove a notice

Click the coloured bar on the calendar. The edit window shows the title and the date range.

Change any field, including the cover image, then click Save.

The red delete button in that window asks you to confirm, then removes the notice from the calendar and from the public noticeboard.

Notices are stored for the running academic session set in System Settings. When you change the running session, this calendar shows the notices for the new session.
